CIS is an abbreviation for "Centre International d’ Informations deSe’curite’ et de Sante’au Travail" which means “International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre" in English.
The CIS is a service of the International Labour Office (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland and it was established in 1959 with the aim of collecting and disseminating all relevant information that contribute to the operation of occupational accidents, injuries and diseases.
